The Mighty Zebras Seal The Golden Day!
As if the celebrations were not enough,Β Zebras gave Batswana another birthday present by winning the Golden Jubilee Independence friendly versus Angola Sables. The game was decided on Penalties 3-0, after 1-1- Draw in Regular Time.
The squad which is dominated by players from beMOBILE Premiership giants Township Rollers and players plying their trade in the domestic league, did their best to make sure that Batswana’s day go according to plan.
Although we were leading 1-0 during regular time, a silly mistake by our captain cost us a great deal as Angola equalized. The game ended 1 all and the 2 teams had to battle it out with penalty shoot outs. The visitors failed to converted even a single penalty, but our mighty Zebras used their chances and became victorious.
