Vice President Gaolathe Highlights Youth as Key Drivers of Botswana’s Development

The Vice President and Minister of Finance, Mr. Ndaba Vice Gaolathe, has emphasised the central role of young people in Botswana’s development. Speaking at the Youth Budget Pitso, he stated that the youth are not only future leaders but active solutions to the country’s current challenges. He highlighted their high levels of education, digital connectivity, and innovative thinking as assets capable of driving national growth. Mr. Gaolathe praised the proactive contributions of the youth, pointing to the submissions received during the Botswana Economic Transformation Programme call for ideas.
