Vultures Fail To Qualify For Rio 2016 Olympics
Botswana suffers yet another blow in international sports games. Our rugby national team vultures, failed to secure The Last Rio 2016 Olympic qualifier spot. TheΒ Vultures were inΒ Johannesburg South Africa where they tookΒ part in theΒ 2015 Rugby Africa Men’s Sevens Championships from 14-15 November. These games were to serveΒ as an opportunity to qualify for Brazil Rio De Janeiro 2016 Olympics .
The Vultures lost all their Pool C games. The results are as follows: Botswana 7-24 Tunisia, Botswana 0-33 Namibia, Morocco 45-5 Botswana. The vultures succumbedΒ to these heavy defeats in the tournament ,which led the teamΒ failing to grab the Olympic spot.
The consolation came through as the Vultures managed toΒ beat Zambia in the Bowl final 26-14.Β BetterΒ luck next time giants.
