WUC Annual Press Conference 2022

The theme was inspired by water infrastructure development aimed at aligning Botswana’s water supply with Vision 2036 and Sustainable Development Goals.

In his key note address Mr Gaselemogwe Senai; Water Utilities Corporation Chief Executive Officer said that major water projects stimulate economic growth and enable them to deliver on their promise to ” keep it following”, and that we are witnesses to these projects country wide hence our reason to celebrate.

The key pointer addressed at this event were water supply status, spot interventions, non revenue water, waste water reclamation & stakeholder consultation, financial performance, debts,WUC smart prepayment implementation, water services innovation, North South Carrier(NSC) water supply scheme, capital Water projects and tariffs.
