Zebras Coach Butler Throws A Few Words At BFA Technical Director
Our football fraternity is slowly but surely becoming more prominent on social media that on the pitch. Everyday we get fresh reports of teams, officials and individuals venting it out. The latest one being ZebrasΒ head coach Peter Butler whoΒ attacked Botswana Football Association technical director Benny Kgomela following reports that Extension Gunners coach Chicco Nare has been appointed the national Under-23 driller.
The appointment of Nare would mean that Nare automatically takes over as senior team assistant coach which is currently held by Oris Radipotsane.Β Through his twitter account, Butler slammed the TD for not consulting him before the said appointment. “I will never work with Chico Nare never,” posted Butler.
Not known to mince his words, heΒ continued, “why would a guy, ex school teacher, no qualifications or no coach education alludes to be TD and tries to destroy our national spirit.” All of this happened while Butler is the UK. This is not the first time Butler has used social network to attack BFA.
