Inspirational: Selling From A Back Pack To A Car Boot Then To Upmarket Malls, Urban Soul

When they say Rome was not built in a day, they could easily be referring to Urban Soul. They started from humble beginnings, and now they are living their dream. It all began from the streets of Gaborone, where they were inspired by Hip Hop to start the movement.

Like many hustlers they started selling from a back pack while studying at the University of Botswana to a boot of a car and eventually they had their first little store at the Nigerian Embassy to African Mall until being a recognized household brand. Urban Soul now boast a chain of 4 outlets in Riverwalk, Rail Park,Airport Junction & Galo Francistown.

Being the trendsetters that they are, this year they will be hosting their 2nd annual Sneaker Expo conference billed for April under the theme “Commercializing your Creativity”  Speaking of their success they had this to say on their Facebook page, “If you ask we will honestly tell u we never knew we can offer our clients and customer our home grown product designed by our own here. What you see it’s a product of Botswana manufactured from scratch to a fully complete product.”
