Miss Teen Botswana Drops Ms Palesa Motsewetsho Says “her brand no longer aligns with their vision”
The Miss Teen Botswana management team, in partnership with Diamond Pageantry Academy, has made an important announcement regarding the title of Miss Teen Botswana 2022. In a press release dated April 20, 2023, the organization stated that Ms Palesa Motsewetsho will no longer hold the title of Miss Teen Botswana 2022, effective immediately.
The press release further explained that Ms Motsewetsho’s brand no longer aligns with the vision, mission, and objectives of Miss Teen Botswana, and thus the decision has been made to end their relationship. While no specific details were provided about the reasons for this decision, the organization expressed appreciation for the time they had spent working with Ms Motsewetsho and wished her well in her future endeavors.
However, in the same press release, Miss Teen Botswana also announced that Miss Rosa Osenotse, who was the first runner-up in the Miss Teen Botswana 2022 pageant, will assume the title of Miss Teen Botswana 2022 going forward. The management team expressed excitement about working with the newly appointed queen as she prepares to represent Botswana on the international stage in Cambodia in June 2023.
The Miss Teen Botswana organization also took the opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate all the stakeholders, sponsors, team members, and other parties involved in the tireless work put in during Ms Motsewetsho’s reign. They expressed confidence that the same efforts, and even more, will be dedicated to supporting the new queen, Ms Rosa Osenotse, in her journey as the new Miss Teen Botswana.
