His Excellency Dr. Mokgweetsi E. K. Masisi and the First Lady Mrs. Neo Jane Masisi are back in the country from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where they had attended the 36th ordinary Session of the AU Assembly.
The theme for this year was ” The Year of AfCFTA: Acceleration of the African Continental Free Trade Area”.
His Exellency Dr. Mokgweetsi E.K Masisi deposited the instruments for ratification of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to His Excellency Moussa Faki Mahamat, Chairperson of the African Union Commission, putting Botswana in a good stead to trade with the rest of the AU.
Dr. Masisi was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Honourable Dr. Lemogang Kwape and Minister of Trade Honourable Mmusi Kgafela along with Senior Government Officials.
