Tsogwane Calls On The Nation to Look To GOD

Botswana has always been known as a religious country. The church and the Government have always worked hand in hand in addressing various societal issues. The Vice President Mr Slumber Tsogwane said this today in an interview after the church service in Matsiloje.

The Vice President said that as Gender based Violence has taken a toll on communities, he wished people could listen to preachers and follow Bible principles, so as to reduce cases of Gender Based Violence.

His Honour Tsogwane said that the Bible does not support cohabitation and intimate relationships before marriage. He said because of ignorance of the Word of God, the nation finds itself having to deal with a number of society ills such as Gender Based Violence cases on a daily basis.

The Vice President urged those who have travelled to take care and drive safely to avoid accidents during this time.
