Suspects Arrested In Possession Of Explosives

Palapye Police have arrested three (3) Batswana Citizen Males aged between 28 and 31

on the 5 October 2022. The trio who originate from Xhumo, Mokokwana and Palapye
respectively were found in possession of seven (7) AEL Explosive gels, detonating cable
and green substance suspected to be dagga estimated to weigh 600 grams.

The investigations also led to the arrest of a Motswana male aged 31 of Ramogate ward
in Serowe yesterday (06/10/22). He was found in possession of 121 Explosive gels and a
0 metre detonating cable. The explosives are suspected to have been used in
commission of crime, especially ATM and safe blastings.
All the four suspects are in Police custody and will appear before Palapye Magistrate Court
on Monday (10/10/22).
