Minister Morwaeng Commends Outgoing India High Commissioner

Minister for State President Hon Kabo Morwaeng has commended the outgoing High Commissioner of India to Botswana Dr Rajesh Ranjan for his great service during tenure of service in Botswana.

Minister Morwaeng made the remarks this morning as Dr Ranjan paid him courtesy call to bid him farewell at the Office of the President. He said Botswana as a developing country continues to enjoy very cordial relations with India.

He said India has been very instrumental in helping Botswana in areas of education, security and most notably health at the time when the world grappled with Covid 19 pandemic.

For his part Dr Ranjan assured Minister Morwaeng, India’s continued relations with Botswana. He said while his tour of duty comes to an end in January India will continue to explore others areas of collaboration with Botswana such as manufacturing .
