“Tsaya thobane” still relevant

Remember the song “Tsaya Thobane” by Dr Vom? Oh well, the song has become a fingertip necessity for all Batswana when they go on any contest. The song which became a hit when the national men football team first qualified for the Africa Cup of nations has been a darling in the hearts of many. Almost ten years down the line, Dr Vom took his directing stick and serenaded the University of Botswana indoor sports arena earlier on today with the hit.

Sports lovers could be seen dancing to the tune of folk song master. In the recent year ATI’s “khiring khorong” was seen as the ultimate replacement for the song that gets anyone dancing during competitions but today’s performance on the song by Vom sure did display that the song still has it. Even on December festivals we still go hard on other teams with it! Dr Vom went on to wish the team representing Botswana in the games a great competition.
