The 21st beneficiary of the Presidential bull donation initiative Mr Gareanna Mompati and his spouse were overjoyed yesterday after receiving a Simmental bull from His Excellency the President Dr Mokgweetsi Eric Masisi in Boteti East Yesterday.

When handing over the gift, President Masisi cited that the initiative aims to improve livestock and uplift farmers. He highlighted that the Ministry of Agriculture was tasked with identifying farmers who are capable, hardworking and have the capacity and zeal for livestock rearing to donate to, adding that beneficiaries from this initiative are encouraged to also liaise with Ministry of Agriculture to in turn donate to other farmers.

President Masisi commended Mr Mompati for his commitment and hardwork. Mr Mompati had stated that he started with only two(2) cows that he inherited from his former employer as a herdboy and managed to take care of his family with the profits.
