Requirements

The suitable candidate must have a minimum of 8 years experience of which at least 7 years in a similar capacity, sound in skills, membership of an Internationally recognized accounting body (ACA, ACMA, and ACCA) and excellent communication skills

Objectives and Key Tasks:

  • Head the Financial Department
  • Human Resources Management in the Finance Department
  • To advise General Manager on company’s liquidity position on a daily basis
  • To ensure that he is aware on the company’s financial position at all times
  • Monitor financial and budgetary performance of all departments
  • Advising all Managers and GM’s on financial matters
  • Staff Training (Finance Department)
  • Oversee all Accounts and Forecourt staff and its operation on a daily basis
  • Generate and issue reports needed by other departments
  • Liaising with banks, company lawyers and oil companies where necessary
  • Oversee the Payroll function
  • Making senior staff payments
  • Treasury management
  • Working Capital management with a strong focus on Debtors
  • Ensuring that the General Ledger is updated and necessary reconciliations are completed monthly and for the year end Financial Audit
  • Liaise with Auditors
  • Preparation of annual budgets
