Naya Rivera’s Body Found Floating In Lake Piru

Naya Rivera’s body found floating in Lake Piru. Just days ago, the American  actress was declared a missing person after her son, Josey was found alone in a boat she had rented for the two of them on 08 July.

The “Glee” TV musical star’s body was discovered five days after she disappeared on the California lake by Ventura County Sheriff’s office. The Sheriff’s office confirmed the body was hers but will also wait for an official statement from the medical examiner.  TMZ also issued out a statement with a picture of her on their Instagram page. “Ventura County’s search and rescue crews have recovered Rivera’s body from Lake Piru. Naya was 33 and is survived by her son . R.I.P,” the post read.

Many of her co-stars and celebrities who knew her beyond her work have continued to send and share messages of sympathy. “Rest Sweet, Naya. What a force you were,” wrote Glee co-star Jane Lynch on Twitter. “RIP Naya..sleep peacefully in heaven,” wrote Skai jackson on her twitter account lat last night.

Rivera began her acting career at a young age as a child actress and model having appeared on national American television commercials. She also secured the role of Hillary Winston in the short-lived CBS sitcom, Royal family but her biggest acting break was her role on Glee as the gay cheerleader, Santana Lopez.
