Lecturer (Production Course Administrator) Wanted At AFDA Botswana
A position exists for the appointment of a Production Course Administrator to commence duty immediately at AFDA Botswana, Oodi Campus. AFDA Botswana, The School of Motion Picture and Live Performance is the leading film, television and live performance school.
Duties:
β’ Coordinate Production Course lectures, ensuring excellence of lecturers allocated.
β’ Oversee assessment of Production Course projects and research essays, allocate assessors and assess.
β’ eLearning: Develop and maintain online learning modules. Evaluate online tutorsβ assessments. Keep track of studentsβ participation on Production Course modules on online platform. Communicate & train on online modules to students and staff.
β’ Implement & maintain course content; assessment instruments; system for academic credits; progress report template; course guidelines; course reading packs with supporting AV.
β’ Assist with library processes.
β’ Lecture and assess Production Course and conduct tutorials.
β’ Collect and process student feedback for course evaluation.
β’ Quality check course implementation.
β’ Assist in lecturer and student enquiries on course content and academic support.
β’ Assist in maintaining statutory compliance & accreditation.
β’ Engage with Train-the-Trainer sessions & staff induction.
Requirements:
β’ MA degree in a relevant field.
β’ 3 yearsβ relevant educational experience.
β’ Online learning experience.
β’ Experience in Film, TV or Stage Production is beneficial.
β’ Writing and language editing skills for educational material.
β’ Communication skills.
β’ Administrative skills.
β’ Flexibility and adaptability to change and new challenges.
β’ Willingness to adopt the AFDA pedagogy.
β’ Team working.
β’ Excellent time and deadline management.
β’ A positive attitude.
