Qualification:
Degree in Information Technology or related field from an accredited institution
Main Purpose Of The Job:
To capture animals data for the Botswana Animal Information and Traceability System( BAITS)
β’ Assists farmers to correctly complete the BAITS forms, capture, enter data, and ensure timely and accurate capture of returns into the system.
β’ Administer questionnaires to farmers and report to LITS based officers any queries as and when they arise and file the forms
β’ Register Livestock keepers, prints cars, ensures that BAITS is up and report if not
β’ Maintain and respect confidentiality of Information
β’ Study the program used, advice on how it can be improved if there is any loophole detected.
β’ Generate a weekly and monthly report on how many forms submitted, animals captured turnaround time and any other relevant issues
β’ Performs any other assigned tasks by the supervisor
