Pule Funeral Group hiring a Branch Manager
We are looking for a talented branch manager to assign and direct all work performed and to supervise all areas of operation at the branch. You will manage staff, foster a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enables sales targets achievement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, administration and sales
2. Assess local market opportunities and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
3. Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
4. Meet goals and metrics
5. Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
6. Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/ applicable laws
7. Bring out the best of the branchβs personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation
8. Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
9. Share knowledge with other branches and Head Office on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
10. Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company
11. Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
1. Proven branch management experience
2. Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices
3. Ability to meet sales targets and production goals
4. Familiarity with industryβs rules and regulations
5. Excellent organisational skills
6. Results driven and customer focused
7. Leadership/management skills
8. Degree in Business Administration or similar
9. 3-5 years in a similar role.
