Cash Bazaar Holdings (Pty) Ltd hiring a Executive Personal Assistant

An Executive Personal Assistant is required for the founders of Cash Bazaar Holdings (Pty) Ltd, a long-established business with several different trading divisions, operating across Southern Africa. The position will be based in Gaborone and will involve aspects of the tourism sector.

The key performance areas of the position are the following:

Diary management (reminding executives of important meetings, tasks and deadlines, scheduling and setting up meetings etc);
Travel management (visa applications, booking flights, transportation and accommodation at best fares)
Administration, Reporting and Presentations (setting agendas, taking and typing minutes, filing, assist in compiling & proofreading reports, distribution, etc)
Public Relations and Relationship Management (answering phones, screening calls, handling queries, welcoming visitors professionally and calmly, coordinate catering for company meetings, etc)
Finance (basic bookkeeping, expense & medical claims, procurement of items ranging from furniture to stationery, budget control, liaison with bankers, etc)
Facility management & IT (ensure personal residences of senior executives are professionally maintained, resolve all utilities – including internet connection – issues)
Personal errands (of a wide-ranging nature)

Qualification and Experience

Mature, with a minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience, covering all the areas listed above. Proof thereof will be required
Experience in assisting with interests in the region and in Europe
Computer literate, advanced skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Driver’s licence and own reliable car
Experience or qualification in accounting or hospitality is advantageous

Bubbly personality and good energy, not easily flustered
Highly resilient and able to withstand extreme pressure
High degree of confidentiality and no potential conflicts of interest
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
Maturity and sensitivity to dealing with family/personal demands of senior executives
Confidence and experience to deal with multi-national travel and commitments
Strong organisational, planning and administrative skills
Numerical skills proficiency
Ability to multi-task and prioritise
Pro-active, ability to work independently, with problem-solving skills
Ability to work harmoniously with others in a team environment
